Since 2015 Declan Swan has been CEO of the UK200Group which is the UK’s leading professional services group of independent quality assured chartered accountancy and law firms. Prior to joining the UK200Group Declan held several senior national roles in the private and third sectors where he worked closely with education, business and government on policy developments relating to skills, employability and careers for young people across the UK.

Declan holds a number of qualifications including an MA in Social and Market Research from the University of Westminster; a BSc in Management from Trinity College Dublin and a Higher Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management from the Dublin Institute of Technology. He also studied strategic planning at Ashridge Business School.

Outside of work, Declan is a keen marathoner and has been known to visit his local from time to time. Declan also has a cockapoo named Ernie who is essentially in charge of the house when he is away. Declan lives on the south coast of England near Chichester.
