Virtuoso Legal are delighted to announce that they placed 2nd for IP Team of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2017.

The event took place last week at the prestigious Grosvenor Hotel in Mayfair, London. Principal Liz Ward, and senior solicitor Philip Partington were in attendance.

The Lawyer Awards are widely regarded as the leading legal awards in the country. For a specialist boutique to be nominated alongside mammoth corporations… (let alone beat many of them to 2nd place) is an unbelievable result.

Notably, Virtuoso Legal are a boutique firm of IP specialists – operating with less than 10 employees, whilst many of the firms Virtuoso beat to 2nd place have offices worldwide and many hundreds of lawyers. Indeed, Allen & Overy’s turnover for 2015/16 was a staggering £1.31 billion, so Virtuoso Legal really were competing with (and bested some) true industry giants!
