UK200Group Digitalisation Taskforce
Overview
At the UK200Group, we want to help our members access and harness the very best technological solutions in the marketplace to drive efficiency, performance and profitability. We also want to help our members embrace digitalisation in its broadest sense to prepare for an increasingly digitalised World.
We have therefore formed the Digitalisation Taskforce, which has been asked by the Executive Committee to spearhead the UK200Group’s work to help and enable our members to embrace and capitalise on digitalisation. You can read the Taskforce’s full Terms of Reference in the Taskforce Portal.
Notwithstanding its wider digitalisation remit, the Taskforce’s priority for 2017 is to make sure that UK200Group firms and their clients are ready for Making Tax Digital (MTD). In this respect, the Taskforce is committed to:
a) Keeping UK200Group member firms up to date with MTD developments through regular updates from UK200Group members and partners
b) Publishing useful guides to enable firms to identify and procure technological services from software, cyber-protection and insurance providers
c) Responding to relevant public consultations from the Government on MTD.
The Taskforce has also launched a Campaign for Clarity on MTD, which will seek to provide our c150,000 SME client group with a voice on MTD.
