The Civil Procedure Rules require individuals with extensive business skills and knowledge who can bring an unquestionable level of independence to give opinion to help resolve disputes. Group FADR members accredited as single joint or single experts have a reputation for concise, unbiased reporting. Members understand their duty to the courts as they are often involved in court proceedings and are called to give evidence.
Our Panel members undertake a range of forensic accounting work which may require them to act as expert witnesses or advisers, for claimant or defendant or as a single joint expert. Their reports may often be used in a court of law, to support arbitration or mediation services. Our work encompasses:
Disputes - partnerships, matrimonial and divorce including tax implications and pensions
Shareholder Disputes - minority shareholders, share valuations and director disputes
Investigations - fraud, asset tracing, false accounting and theft, theft and systems reviews
Personal Injury & Medical Negligence
Criminal defence work
Investigations by regulatory authorities, for example tax or VAT investigations
